As a senior Scrum Master, you have over 5 years of experience in managing a Scrum team under the Agile methodology:

  • You are responsible for managing the Scrum process by applying the Agile methodology.
  • You facilitate your team for better creativity and aim to improve the efficiency of the development team.
  • You remove impediments for the Scrum team.
  • You organize and facilitate sprint planning meetings.
  • You arrange daily stand-up meetings.
  • You schedule and facilitate meetings, demos, and decision-making processes to ensure quick inspection and proper use of the adaptation process.
  • You help the Product Owner to prepare product backlogs and ensure they are ready for the next sprint.
  • You organize and facilitate retrospective meetings.

Next to proven experience in Agile Project Management, you have the following core competencies: Coaching, Effective communication, Group facilitation, Result driven.

About the Team

You will be part of a cross-functional digital communication/product development team working on mobile and web applications. The team is made up of around 15 colleagues with diverse roles: process managers, software engineers, functional analysts, testers, and a product owner.

The team is responsible not only for delivering new functionalities but also for day-to-day management and continuous improvement of applications and processes.

What You Will Do

The Scrum Master’s primary responsibility is assisting the self-organizing, self-managing team to achieve its goals:

  • Act as a servant leader and coach for the Agile Team.
  • Educate the team in Agile and SAFe, ensuring agreed processes are followed.
  • Remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner in preparing and refining the backlog for planning cycles.
  • Participate in retrospectives, sprint/iteration planning, daily scrums, and other ceremonies.
  • Schedule and moderate Agile ceremonies such as huddles, refinements, planning, and retrospectives.
  • Provide and seek feedback to improve team performance.
  • Contribute to larger program-level initiatives (e.g., Agile Release Train).
  • Establish strong collaboration with other teams.
  • Enable international collaboration and foster inclusive teamwork.
