Role Description

You will join our agile mainframe team, contributing to the technical analysis, development, component testing, bug fixing, and support of our mainframe/CICS application used for managing insurance policies, claims, and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely within an agile team to deliver the best possible solution in every context.
• Analyse and interpret requirements, translating them into high-quality development aligned with guidelines on quality, best practices, budget, and scope.
• Develop software in COBOL V5 on the IBM z/OS mainframe.
• Understand and reuse existing technical architecture and components.
• Document all developed software.
• Provide occasional second- and third-line support.
• Actively contribute to the agile way of working.
• Perform analysis, technical implementation, and quality assurance testing.

Profile & Experience

Personal Profile – Senior Level

• Accurate and solution-oriented.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment during sprints.

• Hands-on mentality.
• Knowledge of financial flows is a plus.

• Significant experience (5+ years) in COBOL programming
