Mission Overview

An experienced Database Administrator is required to support ongoing operations within a corporate IT infrastructure. The successful consultant will join the Database Administration (DBA) team within the Infrastructure & Operations department. Hybrid work is possible, though on-site presence in Gosselies is required at least twice per week. A valid driving license and personal vehicle are preferred due to limited public transport access.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for database-related issues.
  • Coordinate issue resolution between internal IT teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Monitor database performance using standard tools.
  • Oversee database setup, maintenance, and monitoring activities.
  • Identify and propose realistic improvements to systems and processes.
  • Offer technical recommendations to development teams to promote secure and efficient database usage.
  • Prepare and execute deployment and rollback (back-out) plans.
  • Define and implement database standards, while staying updated with relevant technologies.
