Mission:

 

As Customer Support Engineer, you will be a member of the Customer Support & Service of our client in Belgium for Herstal site dealing with weapon systems and ammunition. You will serve both internal and external customers. On one hand, You will be responsible of leading after sales projects and ensure its operational monitoring. On the other hand, you will deal with the implementation and realization of various customer support requests like training, technical assistance, investigations, repairs and firing campaigns.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

As Customer Support Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:

 

 

·      Customer support & after sales coordination

o  Manage the complete service delivery processes from the Customer needs qualification to the project realisation.

o  Make the interface between the customer and the internal stakeholder required to deliver services (Engineering, production, quality, logistics).

o  Interact daily with our customer to receive and answer to their requests, to make sure that our equipment and solution are well deployed and used.

o  In addition to customer requests, be able to detect new opportunities and propose related technical solutions and commercial offers.

o  Provide return of Experience (RETEX) on User’s operations in order to propose Product or Services improvement.

o  Address Customer Support and After-sales opportunities in coordination with Bid & project managers and Sales Managers

 

·      Services operational provision

o  To support our internal and external customers by providing technical assistance and expertise.

o  To provide training courses to our customers worldwide.

o  To coordinate various stakeholders during firing campaigns abroad for Program and After Sales services.

 


 

Profile:

 

What makes you the perfect Customer Support Engineer?

 

·      You are graduated in Electro-mechanical engineering; a double cursus Engineering/Management is an asset.

·      You are hand-on, flexible, pragmatic and customer oriented

·      Good oral and written communication skills, and comfortable to maintain good relationships with the customers.

·      You are comfortable with technical environment and are eager to practice.

·      You are autonomous and rigorous

·      You are able to work inside matrix teams and you are a real team-player;

·      You speak both French and English (German is an asset)

·      You are willing to travel abroad (on a frequent basis around the world)
