Role Overview


Sparagus is seeking a seasoned MSP Lead to take full ownership of the strategic and operational leadership of Managed Service Provider (MSP) engagements.

As MSP Lead, you are responsible for the overall performance, governance, and evolution of the MSP model at the client. You act as the single point of accountability for all MSP-related activities, ensuring alignment between business objectives, vendors, and delivery teams.


This role is focused on stability, optimization, and continuous improvement rather than initial project setup.


Key Responsibilities


MSP Governance & Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end MSP engagement and act as the accountable lead toward the client
  • Define, enforce, and evolve MSP governance frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and operational agreements
  • Serve as escalation point for critical MSP-related issues

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Lead and manage all vendors and suppliers operating under the MSP model
  • Drive vendor performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards
  • Conduct vendor reviews, performance evaluations, and improvement plans
  • Ensure fair, transparent, and consistent supplier management

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (HR, procurement, IT, business leadership)
  • Translate business needs into MSP delivery priorities
  • Manage expectations and ensure alignment across all stakeholders
  • Facilitate steering committees and executive-level governance meetings

Operational Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor and improve cost efficiency, delivery quality, and time-to-fill
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day MSP operations across all domains
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies and drive corrective actions
  • Support scaling, transformation, or changes within the MSP scope

Reporting & Insights

  • Own MSP performance reporting and dashboards
  • Provide clear insights on workforce, vendors, costs, and risks
  • Use data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

Continuous Improvement & Strategy

  • Proactively propose enhancements to the MSP model and delivery approach
  • Contribute to Sparagus’ MSP strategy, methodology, and best practices
  • Support MSP renewals, extensions, and scope expansions
  • Act as Sparagus ambassador toward the client


Required Skills & Experience


Experience

  • Extensive experience as an MSP Lead, MSP Manager, Program Manager, or Service Delivery Lead
  • Proven track record managing large-scale or complex MSP environments
  • Strong experience with vendor management and governance models
  • Knowledge of MSP, VMS, and contingent workforce ecosystems


Skills

  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on performance and optimization
  • Comfortable operating at senior and executive level
  • Structured, assertive, and results-driven


Languages

  • Fluent in English
  • Dutch and/or French are strong assets
