Cybersecurity Architect – Medior/Senior Level (FR/NL/EN)
Location: Onsite presence required (minimum 3 days/week), with occasional customer visits in Belgium and Luxembourg

Security Clearance: Must be a citizen of a NATO member state; NATO Secret clearance required within 6 months of starting

Mission
As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will specify and design comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for critical environments. You'll ensure end-to-end cybersecurity integration across the lifecycle of each solution, from initial design to implementation, validation, and service transition.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyse and formalise customer requirements and lead architecture definition
- Serve as technical point of contact with the customer
- Provide expertise in your field or domain
- Lead system specification and design in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Drive Make/Team/Buy decisions and support subcontractor selection
- Own technical documentation (High/Low Level Designs, Config Docs, User Manuals, Test Plans, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
- Contribute to risk assessment and vulnerability management
- Support implementation and testing teams by providing technical guidance and ensuring traceability from requirements to final tests
Profile
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Cybersecurity solution design (e.g. embedded systems, integrated platforms)
- System architecture with model-based systems engineering
- IP network architecture and troubleshooting (including IPv6)
- Network/security principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, routing)
- Development and certification under frameworks like Common Criteria
- Design involving RESTful architectures, Kubernetes, SOAP/XML, or Keycloak
Valuable Additional Qualifications
- Industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, GSEC)
- Experience with tools like Capella, DOORS, Polarion, Jira, BitBucket
- Cyber risk assessment experience (preferably EBIOS)
- Familiarity with defense ecosystem and classified info handling
- Experience with cybersecurity solutions (e.g. Anti-DDoS, SIEM, risk management)
- Knowledge of cloud/containerization security
- Experience with knowledge sharing (e.g. seminars, webinars, whitepapers)
