About the Role

We are looking for a GIS Developer experienced in PowerBuilder, PL/SQL, and FME to join a leading organization in the Utilities industry. The project involves enhancing and maintaining applications that manage network assets, with a strong focus on geolocation systems and asset management tools.

The developer will take ownership of technical design, coding, testing, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of the application in alignment with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in technical design (SAD) based on functional specifications.
• Develop and test applications (including unit and security testing).
• Resolve incidents and ensure product stability.
• Document code to support maintainability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and propose technical solutions.

Required Skills

• Proven experience with PowerBuilder and PL/SQL (5+ years).
• Proficiency with FME (Feature Manipulation Engine).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle relational databases.
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Solid understanding of secure development practices.
• Experience in GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
• Excellent communication in French (C2 level); English is a plus.
• Team-oriented, proactive, autonomous, and detail-driven.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Previous experience in the Utilities sector (electricity, gas, water).

Practical Details

• On-site: Gosselies (minimum 2 days/week, driving license recommended).
• Remote: Flexible.
• Duration: Long-term (1–2 years, renewable).
