Job Description: Security Specialist (Web Proxy & Infrastructure)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in analyzing and optimizing web server proxy configurations across on-premises and cloud environments. You will play a key role in ensuring secure and efficient architecture by identifying discrepancies, validating exceptions, and recommending improvements. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of web server proxy configurations, comparing on-premises and private cloud setups to identify discrepancies and optimization opportunities.
• Validate that all web proxy exceptions within the architecture are properly documented, and take ownership of initiating actions to address undocumented exceptions.
• Provide expert advice and recommend improvements to strengthen security and efficiency.
• Produce clear, structured, and professional documentation of findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the continuous enhancement of security measures.
• Apply a results-driven and analytical approach to addressing complex security challenges.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Security Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of web proxies, server infrastructure, and security architecture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting findings and recommendations effectively.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French is a strong plus.
