Job Title: Senior Compliance Officer

Job Summary:

As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all legal regulations and ethical standards. With over five years of experience in compliance, you will monitor regulatory developments, translate legal requirements into actionable procedures, and provide expert guidance to various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor national and international regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Translate laws and regulations into internal policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures through regular monitoring and oversight.
  • Advise branch networks, central services, and local compliance functions on regulatory matters.
  • Conduct training sessions and awareness campaigns to enhance staff understanding of compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

  • A degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in Compliance, Data Protection, and Privacy (GDPR).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective decision-making abilities.
  • Proactive, independent, and process-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and group facilitation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Dutch, English, and French.


Position: Group Data Protection Coordinator

As a Group Data Protection Coordinator, you will oversee data privacy and protection risks at the group level. This role requires strong coordination and collaboration skills to align efforts across multiple entities and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the central coordinator for data protection across all group entities.
  • Work closely with local Data Protection Officers and compliance teams to ensure consistent implementation of data protection policies.
  • Provide functional leadership to local Data Protection Officers, ensuring a harmonized approach to data privacy across the organization.
  • Manage strategic business projects involving data protection and facilitate effective communication between headquarters and local entities.
  • Ensure comprehensive group-wide reporting on data protection risks and compliance status.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to local Data Protection Officers and Chief Compliance Officers.
  • Support local teams during regulatory investigations and assist in handling major customer complaints related to data protection.
