We are hiring a Senior Database Administrator / Data Support / System Administrator for one of our clients.

Part-time (2 days/week), onpremises/hybrid, for 12 months, as soon as possible

Master +10y or Bach +14y

This role is key to supporting the reliability, performance, and integration of both new and legacy backend systems, enabling the smooth adoption of new technologies and solutions.

The position focuses on database administration, with additional responsibilities in data support and Unix/Linux system administration, ensuring backend services operate seamlessly within the existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support databases including Oracle, MariaDB, and SQL Server
• Monitor database performance, security, and backup processes
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Provide data and database support to development and analytics teams
• Assist with system administration tasks in Unix/Linux environments
• Support the deployment, integration, and troubleshooting of backend services across new and legacy systems
• Ensure high levels of operational reliability and availability

Profile

• Solid experience in database administration (Oracle, MariaDB, SQL Server)
• Good understanding of performance tuning, security, and backup strategies
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux system administration
• Ability to troubleshoot and support backend services in production environments
• Comfortable working in a supportive, cross-functional role
