Cyber Security Operator (Junior/Medior)
Location: Hybrid (minimum 2 days/week on-site in Gosselies, Belgium)
About the Role
We are looking for a Junior or Medior Cyber Security Operator to strengthen a cybersecurity team engaged in a large-scale digital transformation and security program. You will work closely with the Information Security Officer (ISO) team, helping manage and respond to operational security incidents.
Key Responsibilities

Manage operational security tickets, including detection, analysis, response, and resolution of security incidents.

Related to Privileged Access Management (PAM).

Related to SIEM/SOC platforms (Splunk).
- General security-related queries.
- Collaborate with security experts to:
- Recommend and align technological choices with security strategy.
- Understand risk assessments and integrate vulnerabilities and mitigation plans.
- Stay up-to-date on cybersecurity trends and best practices.
Profile Requirements
Technical Skills

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT security, preferably in operational security ticket management.

Hands-on experience with security technologies (IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM, etc.) and network security practices.

Good understanding of security concepts in cloud and on-premise environments.

Familiarity with application security principles.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools such as CyberArk.

Experience with SIEM/SOC platforms, particularly Splunk.

Knowledge of cryptography.

Additional Information

Hybrid working model, with mandatory presence on-site at least 2 days per week in Gosselies.
- Driving license and access to a personal vehicle required (limited public transport access).
- Occasional travel to other sites may be requested.

- French (C2) and English (B1) language proficiency required.
