Junior IT Project Manager
Location: Hybrid in Brussels
Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior IT Project Manager to coordinate small-scale projects within the PMO’s Project Management Office. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure the delivery of expected outcomes and provide additional ad hoc support to the PMO as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and organise project activities to meet planned specifications and project outcomes.
- Define project structure, scope, and key tasks, assisting in requirements gathering.
- Manage project delivery, communication boards, and monitor progress (schedule, scope, budget, and quality).
- Effectively communicate project information to stakeholders and project teams.
- Provide timely reporting on project status and potential risks.
- Coordinate resources across departments to optimise collaboration.
- Conduct follow-up meetings to ensure alignment and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Utilise PMO reporting tools and frameworks for project updates.
- Contribute to the development of PMO tools and participate in working groups.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with Power BI.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, PlanView).
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
