As a Medior Compliance Officer, you have a strong experience ensuring that an organization complies with legal regulations and ethical standards. Your responsibilities include:
- Monitoring national and international developments that lead to changes in laws and regulations.
- Translating legal and regulatory requirements into procedures and instructions.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
- Advising branch networks, central services, and local compliance functions.
- Raising staff awareness through training and communication.

Qualifications:

Language Requirements: Dutch, English, French

Certification: FSMA-certified compliance officer (required for 5 days/year for 3 years)
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising and supporting the organization to promote ethical and controlled business conduct.
- Contributing to integrity risk management and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Developing and maintaining an annual compliance plan.
- Identifying and monitoring compliance risks.
- Updating compliance policies and guidelines as needed.
- Assisting with the implementation of Fit & Proper requirements.
- Conducting an annual review of external mandates and the Board of Directors' competency matrix.
- Acting as the designated contact person for whistleblowing matters.
- Preparing an annual compliance activity report and formulating recommendations.
- Following up on actions taken in response to compliance findings.
- Performing additional ad hoc compliance tasks as necessary.
- Participating in and reporting to the Board of Directors (twice a year) and the General Meeting.
