Azure Cloud (Infrastructure) Engineer – Energy Industry
Location: Gosselies, Belgium (Hybrid – 2 days onsite minimum)

Contract: 12+ months (renewable)
About the Role
A leading organization in the energy sector is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud (Infrastructure) Engineer to strengthen its cloud operations team. You’ll play a key role in managing and optimizing Azure environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across hybrid infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Implement, automate, and document infrastructure solutions following existing standards
- Provide operational knowledge to cloud architecture teams
- Ensure smooth transition of environments to support teams (Level 1)
- Deliver Level 3 technical support and incident resolution
- Automate and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Terraform, and Bicep
- Contribute to the development of a cloud services catalog
- Collaborate on the design of scalable and secure cloud architectures
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years as an Azure Cloud Engineer
- Proven experience with Azure Active Directory Domain Services
- Strong knowledge of Azure governance (Policy, RBAC, Management Groups, Subscriptions)
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform, Bicep)
- Experience in production deployment and Azure Integration Services
- Fluency in French (C1/C2) and English (B2)
- Experience in the energy industry (minimum 5 years)
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Intune and Linux environments
- Familiarity with on-premises integration
- Understanding of the Hub & Spoke model, virtual networks, and Azure Firewall
- Experience in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS architecture design
