s a Senior IT & Telco Procurement Manager, you will lead end-to-end procurement activities for your category, from strategic planning to contract execution. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, and drive commercial excellence with a strong emphasis on performance, innovation, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete IT & Telco procurement lifecycle in coordination with project stakeholders.
- Develop purchasing strategies aligned with technical and business goals.
- Lead vendor selection and manage the tendering process to secure optimal quality, availability, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Execute contract negotiations to deliver best-in-class outcomes.
- Design and secure approval for contracts in accordance with internal governance and general conditions.
- Ensure timely execution and compliance with procurement processes.
- Utilize and deploy procurement productivity tools to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and identify bundling and synergy opportunities.
- Manage contract lifecycle and supplier performance reviews.
- Lead and coach a team of 1–2 direct reports (Buyers/Senior Buyers).
- Collaborate with the Business Center of Excellence (BCoE) on contract realization and purchase order management.
- Provide strategic guidance on procurement opportunities and risks to technical and business teams.
- Build and maintain a 12–24 month roadmap for major procurement projects and renewals.
- Update procurement activities and reporting tools on a regular basis.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in IT & Telco.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Competencies & Requirements
- Proven negotiation skills with a strong focus on stakeholder management.
- In-depth understanding of large software vendors (e.g., Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce), including licensing models and administrative processes.

SAP catalog experience is essential.
- Experience managing hyper-scaler accounts (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions (e.g., Darktrace, Microsoft Sentinel).
- Exposure to niche or startup platforms (e.g., Monday.com).
- Strong grasp of IT/OT convergence and related technologies is a plus.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and a comfort with financial and performance data.
- Excellent project management capabilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage change and influence technical decisions.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management standards is an advantage.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric, results-driven approach.
