About the role

For a large player in the insurance and regulated financial services industry, we are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to support a major digital transformation initiative.

Within a Transformation Office, you will contribute to the development of a central declaration platform responsible for generating and supporting legal and regulatory certificates linked to insurance products (e.g. fiscal documents, RIZIV, DB2P). The role sits at the intersection of business, legal, compliance, and IT in a complex, highly regulated environment

Responsibilities

• Define and document functional and technical requirements for a new enterprise declaration platform from concept to implementation
• Act as the key link between business and IT during the analysis phase
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, legal experts, compliance officers, and technical architects
• Map end-to-end declaration flows and identify process improvements and standardisation opportunities
• Support broader digital transformation initiatives over time

Profile & experience

• Several years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst in insurance or regulated financial services
• Strong exposure to legal, regulatory, or compliance-driven processes
• Excellent analytical and abstraction skills, able to move from high-level concepts to detailed specifications
• Experience with enterprise platforms and large-scale system integrations is a strong plus
• Comfortable working in complex, cross-functional environments
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
