Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer / Vendor Manager with over 5 years of experience in leading end-to-end procurement and vendor management processes. You will manage requirements through to delivery, working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research market trends, assess and onboard suppliers when appropriate.
- Evaluate business requirements for accuracy, transparency, and completeness.
- Negotiate supplier offers to achieve optimal conditions while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Facilitate the contracting process in collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., business, legal, risk).
- Apply standardized processes and tools throughout procurement and vendor management activities.
- Lead source-to-contract projects and strategic vendor initiatives.
- Execute vendor and contract lifecycle management, including monitoring compliance and risk.
- Guide and support junior colleagues.
- Maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
