Audit Principal / Partner (Senior Manager ready for the step-up)

Location: Nashville, TN — fully on-site (Low to zero travel)

This is a seat for an established Principal seeking a stronger national platform, or for a high-performing Audit Senior Manager ready to move into ownership-track leadership now rather than in three years.

What you will own

• Direct and expand a diverse portfolio of complex commercial audit and assurance engagements across various industries.

• Serve as the primary strategic advisor to client executives, presenting audit findings and providing high-level business advice.

• Drive business development and market expansion across Middle Tennessee to grow the firm's commercial audit footprint.

• Ensure the flawless execution of audit plans, maintaining strict adherence to GAAP, GAAS, and overall technical quality standards.

• Mentor and develop audit staff, utilizing a flexible, shared talent pool structure rather than rigid, siloed teams.

What we are screening for

• Active CPA license (non-negotiable).

• 8+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience, with a strong focus on commercial clients.

• Demonstrated ability to step into existing workflow, manage large-scale engagements, and cultivate new client relationships.

• A track record of developing staff and maintaining an even-keel, level-headed leadership style (no sharp elbows).

• Strong ties to the Nashville area and the ability to work fully on-site.
