Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered with a fast-scaling robotics company seeking a Sales Account Director to accelerate revenue growth across aerospace, defense, and industrial automation markets.
This is a senior-level, hands-on sales role for a proven individual contributor with deep experience selling robotics solutions, advanced automation platforms, or high-tech hardware into enterprise or government customers.
You’ll be responsible for driving top-line growth through strategic account development, customer expansion, and collaboration with executive leadership to shape go-to-market and capture key accounts.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
🏗️ Sales Strategy & Account Leadership
• Own full-cycle enterprise sales — from prospecting to close
• Develop and execute account strategies for strategic customers
• Deliver executive-level presentations demonstrating technical and ROI value
• Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to align solutions with customer needs
🤝 Customer Development & Relationship Management
• Build trusted relationships with decision-makers in aerospace, defense, and industrial automation
• Negotiate complex contracts and multi-year agreements
• Drive adoption across both new and existing customers
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and strategic demos
📈 Market & Revenue Impact
• Identify and qualify new commercial and government opportunities
• Shape product direction through direct customer feedback and market intelligence
• Consistently exceed sales targets with disciplined territory and pipeline management
• Report market trends and emerging opportunities to senior leadership
🧠 What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
• 8–12+ years in B2B enterprise sales — robotics, automation, aerospace, or defense preferred
• Proven track record exceeding $3M+ annual quotas selling capital equipment or advanced software systems
• Deep understanding of robotics, automation, or manufacturing technology landscapes
• Strong network within aerospace primes, DoD contract ecosystem, or industrial automation channels
• Self-starter mindset — thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments
Strongly Preferred
• Robotics or automation systems sales background
• Prior experience selling into aerospace / defense OEMs or primes
• Familiarity with robotics integration, perception systems, and control technologies
• Proven success in consultative solution selling of complex technical systems
🌎 Location & Travel
• Oklahoma City, OK (preferred) or Austin, TX
• Travel 25–50% to key customers, industry events, and partner sites
