Tax Principal / Partner (Senior Manager ready for the step up)

Location: Nashville, TN — fully on-site

Compensation: Competitive base plus bonus and equity path, calibrated to book and platform contribution

The opportunity

Career Staffing Talent is retained by a top-tier national public accounting firm to build out the tax leadership of its growing Nashville office. This is a seat for an established Principal who wants a stronger national platform behind them, or for a high-performing Tax Senior Manager with the client relationships and business-development instincts to move into ownership-track leadership now rather than in three years.

What you will own

• A diverse portfolio of complex tax compliance and consulting engagements across high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and closely held corporate clients

• Primary strategic advisor role with your clients, with real authority over the relationship

• Business development and market expansion across Middle Tennessee

• Review of complex federal, state, and local returns and overall technical quality

• Mentorship and development of a tax team, with direct input on hiring and structure

What we are screening for

• Active CPA license (non-negotiable)

• 8+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience

• Demonstrated business development: named relationships, referral sources, or a portable book

• Track record managing and developing tax staff through busy season

• Ability to work fully on-site in Nashville
