Senior Accountant

Miami, FL | On-site | Finance & Accounting

Career Staffing Talent is partnering with a high-growth healthcare fulfillment and pharmacy services organization in Miami to find a hands-on Senior Accountant. The business runs on high transaction volume, inventory accuracy and complex partner billing. This hire will strengthen the financial foundation, keep the company audit-ready and turn operational data into clear margin and cash flow insight.

The Opportunity

• Report directly to Finance Leadership inside a lean, high-visibility finance team

• Own the full month-end close and the accuracy of the balance sheet

• Work daily with the inventory, operations and account management teams

• Have authority to standardize close checklists, set up internal controls and streamline reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: Run an efficient multi-entity close, with supported reconciliations and workpapers that pass external audit without rework

• Revenue and Inventory Alignment: Reconcile billing, accruals and inventory movement against fulfillment data, resolve variances and apply GAAP revenue recognition

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare management reporting that explains revenue, cost and margin drivers by service line, not just consolidated totals

• Internal Controls and Cash Oversight: Tighten controls over cash, vendor spend and inventory so problems are caught before they hit results

• Forecasting and Modeling: Build rolling cash and margin forecasts that reflect growth, new service offerings and changing cost drivers

• Audit Support: Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors, with traceable documentation and timely responses

• Process Improvement: Automate and refine close procedures to shorten cycle times and move the team from assembling data to analyzing it

Ideal Background

• 4+ years of full-cycle accounting in a high-transaction, multi-entity or inventory-heavy environment

• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, especially revenue recognition, accruals and inventory costing

• Hands-on ERP and inventory system experience, plus advanced Excel for reconciling large datasets

• Able to explain financial requirements to operations partners and hold data owners accountable

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

Preferred

• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, specialty fulfillment or distribution

• CPA, or actively pursuing the CPA
