Career Staffing Talent (CST) is partnering exclusively with a well-regarded boutique commercial litigation firm with deep roots in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties to place a seasoned Premises Liability Associate Attorney. This firm handles a compelling mix of commercial litigation and liability defense work — and for the right insurance defense attorney, it represents a genuine opportunity to broaden your practice and step into higher-stakes commercial work.
What You'll Be Doing
✔️ Managing a blended caseload of premises liability defense and commercial litigation matters — from intake through trial
✔️ Handling slip-and-fall, negligent security, construction site accidents, and related tort claims alongside contract disputes and business litigation
✔️ Conducting depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and representing clients in mediations and arbitrations
✔️ Coordinating with expert witnesses, investigators, and retained consultants
✔️ Advising commercial and institutional clients on litigation strategy and risk exposure
✔️ Appearing in Miami-Dade and Broward state court proceedings as needed
What We're Looking For
✔️ 5–7 years of premises liability experience — insurance defense backgrounds strongly considered
✔️ Florida Bar license in good standing (required)
✔️ Proven deposition and motion practice experience; first-chair or near-first-chair trial experience preferred
✔️ Strong written and oral advocacy skills with the ability to work independently
✔️ Comfortable managing client relationships directly
✔️ Self-directed work ethic suited for a remote-first environment
