Executive Partner (Mandarin Chinese Required) | Greater Boston, MA | Flexible structure

📍 Greater Boston, MA (locally based required)

🏢 Confidential — leading international company building its long-term Boston presence

💰 Open and flexible, commensurate with experience

💼 Full-time, fractional executive, independent consultant, or strategic advisor

Career Staffing Talent (CST) has been retained by a leading international company to identify an Executive Partner who will serve as its primary local ambassador and strategic advisor in Greater Boston. This is a high-visibility, relationship-driven role at the intersection of government affairs, community relations, and strategic partnerships — working directly with the Chief Strategy Officer and senior leadership as they deepen their footprint in the region.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and lead a Greater Boston engagement strategy spanning government, business, academic, and community stakeholders
  • Build and steward senior-level relationships across sectors including public affairs, university advancement, healthcare leadership, family offices, private banking, nonprofit leadership, and economic development
  • Represent the company as a trusted institutional ambassador in high-profile civic, industry, and community forums
  • Advise executive leadership on Boston-specific opportunities, risks, and stakeholder dynamics; brief visiting executives on local market context and policy nuances
  • Orchestrate executive roundtables, stakeholder meetings, and initiatives that depend on deep local insight and mature relationships
  • Connect and align local advisors, industry experts, and institutional decision-makers around strategic initiatives

What We're Looking For

✔️ 10+ years living and working in Greater Boston, with a strong, visible reputation in the local community

✔️ Background in government affairs, public affairs, community relations, university advancement/alumni relations, healthcare administration, family offices, private banking, nonprofit leadership, or economic development

✔️ Experience in roles such as Chief of Staff, Director of Government Relations, Director of External Affairs, Director of Community Relations, Advancement Officer, or Stakeholder Engagement Lead

✔️ Proven ability to build and leverage trusted, long-term relationships across diverse stakeholder groups

✔️ Professional fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)

✔️ Exceptional communication skills, strong execution, and a track record of ethical leadership

✔️ Based in Greater Boston, MA

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This is not an internal operations seat. Success is measured by the relationships you build and the strategic influence you create across the Boston ecosystem — a rare mandate to shape how a global organization shows up in the region.

You will work directly with the Chief Strategy Officer and executive leadership, with genuine latitude to design the engagement strategy rather than inherit one.

The client is open to multiple structures — full-time, fractional, consulting, or advisory — and for truly exceptional profiles, both compensation and scope can be shaped creatively to reflect experience and impact.

Interested?

If you're Boston-rooted, Mandarin bilingual, and have spent your career building institutional relationships that matter, we'd like to hear from you.

All inquiries are strictly confidential. Client details will be shared with qualified candidates during the initial conversation.
