🔧 Sprinkler Fitter – Central Massachusetts (Worcester and surrounding areas)

Location: Central Massachusetts – Worcester and nearby towns

Type: Full-Time | Skilled Trades

Pay: $46-55/hr. depending on experience - willing to speak if compensation is slightly out of range

💼 About the Role

Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered wth a national fire protection company looking for a seasoned Sprinkler Fitter with extensive experience in installing fire sprinkler systems. This role also includes servicing, repairing, and maintaining wet, dry, and pre-action suppression systems. You’ll be working independently and as part of a team to ensure systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.


🔍 Responsibilities

  • Install fire sprinkler systems with precision and code compliance
  • Service and repair wet, dry, and pre-action suppression systems
  • Conduct flow testing of fire hydrants and backflow preventers
  • Diagnose and repair fire pumps and system deficiencies
  • Read and interpret blueprints and system diagrams
  • Operate threading machines, hand tools, and power tools safely
  • Maintain accurate work records (paper and digital)
  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members
  • Work safely in confined spaces, at heights, and with heavy equipment (up to 70 lbs)


Qualifications

  • Extensive sprinkler installation experience (minimum 5–7 years in the field)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Required Massachusetts sprinkler license
  • Experience with fire protection systems and components
  • Ability to work independently and follow direction
  • Familiarity with iPads/laptops and blueprint software a plus
  • Positive attitude
