💼 About the Role
Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered with a national fire protection company looking for an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to join their Central Massachusetts team. You'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining wet, dry, and pre-action fire suppression systems — working both independently and alongside a skilled crew to keep everything running to the highest standards.
🔍 Responsibilities
- Install fire sprinkler systems with precision and full code compliance
- Service and repair wet, dry, and pre-action suppression systems
- Conduct flow testing on fire hydrants and backflow preventers
- Diagnose and repair fire pumps and system deficiencies
- Read and interpret blueprints and system diagrams
- Operate threading machines, hand tools, and power tools safely
- Keep accurate work records — both paper and digital
- Communicate clearly with clients and fellow team members
- Work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and with equipment up to 70 lbs
✅ What We're Looking For
- 5–7+ years of hands-on sprinkler installation and service experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and sharp attention to detail
- Valid driver's license
- Massachusetts sprinkler license (required)
- Solid working knowledge of fire protection systems and components
- Ability to work independently and take direction
- Comfort with iPads, laptops, or blueprint software is a bonus
- Positive attitude and good team player
