Group Product Manager, Partnerships & Integrations

At mature, pre-IPO FinTech company with mission helping SMBs

Location: NYC - hybrid 3x/week onsite

Comp: $210-262.5K base salary + options

Visas: Sorry, no visa sponsorship or transfers available

About the company:

Chances are, if you've worked for a startup or an established small-to-medium-sized business, you're probably already familiar with our client!

They're a late-stage Benefits / Payroll platform tech company (Series E, pre-IPO) in an exciting stage of substantial but responsible growth, and with great name recognition. They provide SMBs - including many in the tech industry - high-quality, enterprise-level health insurance and payroll tools that smaller businesses and their employees wouldn’t otherwise have access to.

They’re known for a standout culture rooted in honesty, openness, integrity, friendliness, no-ego, and inclusion. “Collaboration” isn’t just a word on a cheesy corporate poster in a hallway – it represents their values at their core.

Their cred:

Fortune magazine named them to their Best Workplaces in New York list 5 times, and are one of BuiltIn’s “NYC Best Large Companies to Work For".

They’ve been in business for 10+ years and are an important player in the $40B HR Tech industry. They’re secured $160M in funding from many top VCs including Bain, Thrive, FirstMark Capital, and Union Square Ventures.

Their star continues to rise rapidly; it’s a great time to get in the door! They recently expanded into global markets and have grown consistently and intelligently year over year.

They’re currently at ~1300 total employees and have doubled their Product org in the last 2 years - now ~50 Product Managers strong, and growing. They’re now adding a full suite of products to their already well-known core product, so they’re in a great place for continued growth and visibility.

About the role:

As Group Product Manager for Partnerships & Integrations, you’ll lead teams with ownership of key partner and platform experiences. You’ll translate commercial opportunities into clear product strategy—balancing customer value, business growth, and operational scalability.

This work sits at the intersection of Product and Partnerships, requiring strong business acumen, a deep understanding of revenue drivers, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder dynamics across product, sales, and external partners.

You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives that connect internal and external ecosystems—delivering seamless integrations and partner experiences that expand the company’s offerings and create measurable added value for customers. The ideal candidate brings both product management and partnership experience—someone who knows how to turn collaboration into scalable, revenue-driving products and integrations that deepen customer impact.

You have executive presence and are a skilled people leader, overseeing a team of 3-4 PMs, with which you’ll balance hands-on product work with leadership and mentorship. You’ll also play a key role in strengthening the systems and processes that help the broader Product and Engineering organizations scale effectively.

If you’re excited to shape how Partnerships evolve into scalable products—and help build the ecosystem that powers customer growth—this is a role where you can have tangible, compounding influence and impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and drive the product vision for integration partners, aligning strategy and execution across multiple mission-team roadmaps.
  • Lead customer- and partner-focused development from discovery through launch, guided by insights and data.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Partnerships, Revenue, Design, and Engineering to deliver high-quality integrations on time and at scale.
  • Translate company objectives into clear goals and OKRs, ensuring team focus on outcomes that drive customer and business value.
  • Coach and develop your team to embed customer-centric practices throughout the PDLC.
  • Communicate priorities and progress effectively to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to advocate for scalable, maintainable technical roadmaps that balance new development with managing technical debt.
  • Continuously improve product performance by analyzing outcomes, synthesizing feedback from customer-facing teams, and prioritizing high-impact iterations.
  • Contribute beyond your immediate scope to strengthen overall product strategy, process, and cross-functional impact.

Who you are:

  • 7+ years of product management experience (or equivalent in Partnerships and/or Integrations) in a modern tech environment.
  • 3+ years formally leading teams, managing at least 3 direct Product reports. This is not a role for a new manager looking to make a step up, but rather for someone with a proven track record in leadership.
  • Experience building commercially successful partnerships and integrations.
  • Background in high-growth companies is preferred; experience in highly regulated domains (e.g., fintech or healthcare) is a plus.
  • Skilled at building new products (0→1) as well as shipping continuous improvements to an existing product portfolio at scale.
  • Adept at leading complex, cross-team initiatives from ideation to execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, able to turn ambiguity into clear, actionable strategies.
  • Experience leading technical products and/or a background in computer science or related fields. This is not a Technical PM role, so you don’t have to know how to code, but you are an excellent communicator with Eng teams.
  • Empathetic people leader and coach, known for improving team effectiveness, cohesion, and satisfaction.
  • Exceptional communicator and influencer, using storytelling, structured reasoning, and business acumen to align diverse stakeholders.
