Job Title: Banquet Chef

Location: Monroe, Louisiana

Salary: $60,000 to $70,000

A boutique, full-service hotel with a signature restaurant and an active events business.

The Role

Lead the banquet kitchen through a busy events calendar, setting the standard for a strong team of cooks and chefs, training them up, and bringing creativity to every menu while managing food and labor costs.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years minimum as a banquet cook or banquet chef
• High-volume banquet experience
• Proven leader and trainer with a creative approach to menus and presentation
• Working knowledge of COGS for food and labor
• Preferred: hotel banquet experience, major brand experience, boutique hotel or high-end event experience
• Experience with allergen-conscious and dietary-specific menus strongly preferred
