A growing, family-owned and operated Florida-based hotel management company is expanding its portfolio and seeking strong leadership talent to support its continued success. This newly acquired property in Jacksonville presents an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to make a direct impact leading operational improvements, building team culture, and positioning the hotel for long-term growth and profitability.


This role offers high visibility within the organization, the ability to influence property-level strategy, and the chance to grow alongside a company that values hands-on leadership and internal advancement.


What We’re Seeking:

An experienced, hands-on General Manager who can take ownership of day-to-day hotel operations while driving performance, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. Ideal candidates are proactive leaders who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about building strong teams and delivering results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B
  • Drive overall property performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost control practices
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and team members, fostering a positive and accountable culture
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards and actively responding to guest feedback
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics including occupancy, ADR, and guest satisfaction scores
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and key stakeholders to enhance the hotel’s presence in the market
  • Ensure full compliance with brand standards, company policies, and all health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management across all departments
  • Identify operational efficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and profitability
  • Maintain a strong on-property presence, leading by example and supporting teams during peak operational periods
