About Company / Opportunity:
Ownership is looking for a high caliber Kitchen Manager with experience running fast paced, high volume, full service restaurant concepts. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for assisting with grand opening and menu development for a brand new steakhouse restaurant opening in the summer 2026.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient, consistent, and high-quality food production.
- Manage and lead kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls to meet budget targets.
- Collaborate with leadership on menu execution, recipe adherence, and kitchen procedures.
- Monitor labor costs and optimize staffing levels based on business needs.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Enforce company policies, recipes, and operational standards.
- Support a positive, accountable, and team-oriented kitchen culture.
