Job Title: Kitchen Manager

Location: Soldotna, Alaska

Salary: $70k-$75k (DOE)

About Company / Opportunity:

Ownership is looking for a high caliber Kitchen Manager with experience running fast paced, high volume, full service restaurant concepts. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for assisting with grand opening and menu development for a brand new steakhouse restaurant opening in the summer 2026.


Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient, consistent, and high-quality food production.
  • Manage and lead kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls to meet budget targets.
  • Collaborate with leadership on menu execution, recipe adherence, and kitchen procedures.
  • Monitor labor costs and optimize staffing levels based on business needs.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Enforce company policies, recipes, and operational standards.
  • Support a positive, accountable, and team-oriented kitchen culture.
