Job Title: Interventional Radiology Practice & Business Development Manager
Location: Jacksonville / Northeast Florida (Hybrid – office-based + field work)
Future expansion: Support new hybrid OBL/ASC location
Reports to: Physician Owners / Executive Leadership
Position Type: Full-time (will evolve into executive-level role with direct reports)
Position Overview
High-impact leadership role combining practice administration (40%) with aggressive business development and referral growth (60%). This is a growth-oriented position designed for a driven professional who will play a pivotal role in scaling an independent interventional radiology practice across multiple sites in Northeast Florida.
The right candidate will function as the “face” of the practice in the community while ensuring internal operations run efficiently and profitably. Long-term, this role will grow into a true executive position overseeing staff and multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Referral Growth (Primary Focus – 60%)
- Recruit additional IR physicians (partners, associates, PSAs)
- Direct in-person marketing and relationship-building with referring providers (primary care, vascular surgery, nephrology, oncology, urology, etc.)
- Target growth in core service lines: Dialysis access, PAD, embolization, UFE, prostate artery embolization, thyroid/nerve ablations, pain procedures, etc.
- Expand and deepen existing referral relationships; identify and penetrate new referral sources
- Serve as territory liaison and community representative at physician meetings, CME events, etc.
- Collaborate on digital/media marketing, website updates, and campaign execution
- Track measurable analytics and report on referral volume, revenue growth, and market share gains
Practice Operations & Administration (40%)
- Jacksonville office-based: oversee front desk, scheduling, prior authorizations, patient chart prep, and daily workflow
- Financial support: QuickBooks, P&L review, AR/AP oversight, inventory management, analytics
- Support operational efficiency across current offices and future OBL/ASC
- Work closely with clinical team to optimize patient experience and provider productivity
Compensation

Qualifications – Required
- Proven experience in healthcare business development, physician liaison/outreach, radiology practice management, or related field
- Existing relationships with referring providers in Northeast Florida strongly preferred
- Track record of driving measurable growth in referrals, volume, or revenue
- Strong financial acumen (P&L, AR/AP, budgeting experience a plus)
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work autonomously and interface effectively with physicians and staff
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or related); Master’s a plus
- Specific IR or vascular experience
- Experience recruiting physicians
- Familiarity with EMR/RIS/PACS, billing/coding workflows
