Diagnostic Radiologist – Body Imaging Specialist (Academic Faculty)

Position Title: Assistant / Associate / Full Professor – Body Imaging

Location: Gulf Coast Region / Deep South (Metropolitan Area)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Faculty Track

Position Overview:

An established flagship university medical center is actively recruiting a Diagnostic Radiologist with dedicated fellowship training in Body Imaging. This position carries an official faculty appointment and provides an exceptional balance of complex clinical exposure across a multi-hospital system alongside academic mentorship duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver primary diagnostic interpretations and expert consultative services for body imaging exams.
  • Supervise and perform adult fluoroscopy examinations as needed.
  • Provide high-quality clinical instruction and lecture-based education to radiology residents and medical students.
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary care cases across major regional hospitals and cancer institutes.

Requirements:

  • Completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Body Imaging.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Unrestricted state medical license (or eligibility to obtain one prior to start).
  • Experience or willingness to support additional specialty areas (e.g., Neuroradiology, MSK, or Breast imaging) is highly beneficial.
