Physician Assistant – Dermatology

$95,000+ (commensurate with experience)
A well-established, privately owned dermatology practice in Sebring/Lake Placid area is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join their growing team. What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive medical histories and full-body skin examinations
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including skin cancer
- Perform in-office procedures (biopsies, cryotherapy, ED&C, excisions, etc.)
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and pathology results
- Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications
- Provide patient and family education on skin cancer prevention and sun safety
- Complete thorough, timely documentation in the EMR (clinical notes and MIPS within 48 hours)
- Participate in community outreach and skin-cancer screening events
- Collaborate with the dermatologist and clinical team while functioning autonomously when needed
What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Master’s degree required)
- Active Florida PA license (or eligible)
- Current DEA and Florida Controlled Substance Registration
- NCCPA certification preferred
- At least 1 year of clinical experience; dermatology experience is a strong plus (will consider motivated PAs from other specialties with a passion for dermatology)
- Proficiency with EMR systems (1+ year required)
- Exceptional clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Professionalism, empathy, and a positive attitude
Schedule & Benefits
- Monday - Friday primary schedule (8-hour shifts)
- Occasional weekends for community events as needed
