Physician Assistant - Dermatology

$95,000+ (commensurate with experience)

A highly respected, privately owned dermatology practice in the heart of Ocala, Florida is expanding and actively seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, well-established practice serving the growing Ocala community while enjoying a highly desirable Monday-Friday lifestyle.

What You’ll Do

• Perform detailed medical histories and full-body skin examinations
• Diagnose and manage all dermatologic conditions, with a strong focus on skin cancer detection and treatment
• Perform office-based procedures: biopsies, cryotherapy, ED&C, excisions, etc.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and pathology results
• Create and execute treatment plans, prescribe medications
• Educate patients and families on skin cancer prevention and sun safety
• Complete thorough EMR documentation and MIPS requirements within 48 hours
• Participate in community outreach and skin-cancer awareness events
• Work both collaboratively with the dermatologist and independently with confidence

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Master’s required)
• Active Florida PA license (or immediately eligible)
• Current DEA and Florida Controlled Substance Registration
• NCCPA certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; dermatology background strongly preferred (will consider high-performing PAs from primary care, urgent care, or surgery with genuine interest in dermatology)
• At least 1 year of EMR experience required
• Outstanding clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday - Friday (8-hour shifts)
• Occasional weekends only for community events
• Competitive starting salary $95,000+ based on experience
