Interventional Radiologist

Location: Northern NYC / Downstate Region (Hospital Campus)

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent -or- Part -time Ongoing

Position Overview

On behalf of a prominent hospital facility in the northern NYC area, we are seeking a dedicated, full-time Interventional Radiologist. This role is ideal for a locally based specialist looking for a stable position with a structured daytime routine and a reliable call schedule.

Schedule & Clinical Hours

• Daytime Schedule: Monday through Friday

Proximity & On-Call Requirements

• Local Candidates Only: Due to strict emergency response windows, candidates must live within close driving distance of the hospital.
• On-Call Duties: Shared off-hours on-call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Historical Volume: Averages roughly 13-16 phone consults per month and up to 15 callbacks per year.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology (Board Certification strongly preferred).
• Current, full, and unrestricted New York medical license
