The Technical Project Manager will coordinate and monitor small to medium software projects from initiation through delivery in a Mobile application development environment, ensure all targets, requirements, and maintenance needs are met by working closely with development, support, and other cross-functional teams, and make sure projects are completed on schedule and meet the needs of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

Direct and manage projects and maintenance releases from beginning to end with regular iterative releases Develop an understanding of critical business processes and work with project stakeholders to prioritize needs Review maintenance needs with core business areas and make decisions as to how the impacted products or service update will be implemented Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that meet objectives and support business goals Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools Develop project plans, associated communications, and regulatory documents Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path to mitigate risks Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans Required

Qualifications:

• BS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience with 12+ years in software development, system engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading technical teams
• Experience with SAFe agile practices
• Experience with people management
• Experience with project schedule and cost management
• Experience with customer interaction and gathering requirements and customer priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated, creative, organized, and able to accomplish tasks under limited supervision
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Key technical skills include a high proficiency in Microsoft Office products and SharePoint
• Experience with Gitlab (workflow), JIRA, and Confluence
• PMP certification
• Software development/coding experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and React
• Experience with database systems, search engines, model view controller (MVC); web applications
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous development tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, or equivalent)
