Heavy Equipment Mechanic (A-Level Preferred)

We are currently hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics for our Lexington, North Carolina location. This position is ideal for mechanics looking for a consistent Monday-Friday schedule while working on a wide variety of heavy equipment.

Compensation

• $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
• Based on experience

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, driveline components, braking systems, and suspensions
• Read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics
• Utilize diagnostic software to identify equipment failures
• Weld, fabricate, and repair damaged components
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Complete repair documentation and inspections
• Provide high-quality repairs while minimizing equipment downtime

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment repair experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of Tier IV emissions systems
• Experience with computerized diagnostics
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments
