Position: Heavy Equipment Technician (Brampton Shop)
As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, performing routine maintenance, and completing rebuilds on a wide range of Bobcat equipment and attachments. Your role is crucial in ensuring our customers' equipment is up and running quickly, allowing their projects to stay on track and their downtime to be minimized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance on various Bobcat equipment models and attachments, both in the shop and in the field.
- Program, update, and calibrate on-board control systems.
- Complete service work documentation, submit daily timecards, and collaborate with dealer online support.
- Fill out warranty information and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and participate in required Health & Safety training.
- Ensure a safe and efficient workplace by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working with industrial or construction equipment.
- Previous experience as a shop mechanic and/or field service technician is required.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
- Self-motivated, independent, and a team player with a strong sense of urgency.
- Proficient in using computer systems for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours to support business needs.
- A valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (Day shift)
- No weekends
- Overtime as required
Compensation:
- Pay range: $30.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
