We have an exciting opportunity for Red Seal/Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanics for Fly In/Fly Out positions in Detour Lake Gold Mine, located up in Northern Ontario. You would join an award-winning, multi-branch heavy equipment repair organization that has been in business for over 75 years. If you’re an experienced Technician tired of standard shop repair and traditional field work, try something new and utilize your expertise to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair in remote sectors.

Working onsite at a Gold Mine, Field Techs would be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance to a variety of above ground mining equipment, including but not limited to, rock trucks, shovels, compressors, generators, shovels, attachments, excavators, dozers, etc. These roles are in need of Technicians who are creative, resourceful, enjoy challenges, and can handle working independently in isolated areas.

SHIFT: 14 weeks on, 14 weeks off.

HEAVY DUTY FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 421A Heavy Equipment License
• Experience servicing a variety of construction and mining equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid "G" driver's license and clean record

COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:

• $40.00 - $45.00/hour
• $15/hour premium on top of base pay while on rotation
