Shop & Equipment

  • Modern 12-bay facility (expanded in 2022)
  • Overhead cranes on both sides of the shop
  • Updated diagnostic tools and software-based job assignment
  • Ability to source and order your own parts as needed


Work Environment & Equipment Variety

This is a diverse, hands-on role with a strong mix of work:

  • Roughly 75% of customers are agricultural (farming community)
  • Work on:
  • Semi trucks and trailers
  • Flatbeds, drop decks, grain hoppers
  • Diesel engines and related systems
  • Farm equipment (primarily older units)


The shop also buys, repairs, rebuilds, and resells diesel trucks, offering variety beyond standard repair work.


Schedule

  • Day shift typically starts between 6:00 AM – 4:00PM
  • Afternoon shift typically runs 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Overtime available based on workload
  • Opportunities to get involved in mobile service and recovery work (if interested)


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on trucks, trailers, and equipment
  • Repair and maintain brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient shop operations


Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with trucks, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment
  • Own tools required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Training & Growth Opportunities
