We are seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art luxury service department in Long Island City, NY. This position is ideal for technicians with flat-rate experience who take pride in high-quality diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and delivering exceptional workmanship.

Location: Long Island City, NY

Pay: $20.00–$50.00/hour (flat rate) + production incentives and benefits/401K

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (day shift), some Saturdays

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform repairs to factory and dealership standards
• Accurately document all work performed and parts used on repair orders
• Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair status and additional findings
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality control
• Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
• Mentor and assist apprentice technicians when assigned
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a flat-rate automotive technician
• Luxury brand experience preferred (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche)
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• ASE Certifications (strongly preferred)
• NY State Inspector license (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining high workmanship standards

Incentives

• Hourly flat rate: $20.00–$50.00 (based on experience and certifications)
• Production incentives:
• 40–44.99 hrs: +$1.00/hr
• 45–49.99 hrs: +$1.50/hr
• 50+ hrs: +$2.00/hr
• 65+ hrs: $100 bonus
