Fuel & Lube Truck Operator — Keep the Iron Moving

Chatham, Virginia

This is one of those jobs where the day starts early, and you finish knowing every machine you touched is ready to earn its keep.

You’ll be running a dedicated fuel & lube truck out each morning, hitting job sites within an hour of Chatham, VA. The work is straightforward but hands-on: fueling heavy equipment, greasing fittings, and topping off hydraulic, engine, and lubrication oils. You’re not just driving—you’re getting out, climbing on equipment, and keeping the fleet alive.

No long hauls. No nights. No weekends.

What the job looks like

• Drive a fuel & lube service truck to nearby job sites
• Fuel heavy equipment with diesel
• Grease and lubricate machinery in the field
• Top off hydraulic oil, engine oil, and other fluids as needed
• Work outdoors in active construction environments
• Keep equipment ready so crews can keep moving

What you need

• CDL (Class A with tanker + hazmat or Class B with X endorsement)
• No automatic restriction — truck is manual transmission
• Comfortable getting out of the truck and working hands-on in the field
• Solid safety mindset and ability to work independently once trained
• Reliable, steady, and willing to stay active through the shift

Schedule & pay

• Monday–Friday, early start (around 6:00 AM)
• Typically done by 2:00 PM (rarely later than 3:00 PM)
• No nights, no weekends
• 40 hours/week with occasional overtime
• $25–$35/hr depending on experience
