We are urgently looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics in the Ottawa area to join an award-winning heavy equipment repair organization that has been in business for over 70 years.

Field Heavy Duty Technicians will work out of a well-equipped service truck and Shop Heavy Equipment Mechanics will work out of a clean shop to diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on a variety of construction, forestry, and mining equipment.


JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least three (3) years heavy equipment repair experience (i.e. dozers, loaders, excavators, skid steers, rock truck, graders, etc.)
  • Strong diagnostic skills
  • 421A Heavy Equipment Mechanic License OR Registered 5th Year Apprentice, preferred but not required
  • Own tools
  • Valid “G” driver’s license and clean driving record

 

All hired HD Mechanics must pass a pre-employment background check (Criminal and Driving)


SHIFT: Days, 7:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday). OT available.
