A rapidly expanding fire protection company is immediately hiring a Fire Extinguisher Technician to cover the DMV area (Northern Viriginia, Maryland and DC).

Fire Extinguisher Technicians will inspect, install, troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety emergency lighting systems and perform hydrostatic testing of low-pressure cylinders, fire extinguisher repairs and filling; completing documentation of work performed using a tablet; other related duties as required.

SHIFT: Days, 7:00am – 3:30pm (Monday – Friday). OT after 40 hours. Flexible to work on-call in an emergency basis if needed (rare).

SUPPRESSION TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• At least one (1) years experience testing and refilling fire extinguishers and servicing emergency lights
• Knowledgeable of NFPA 10
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks (Criminal, MVR)
