Working out of a company vehicle you are able to take home, Fire Alarm Techs will inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety of fire alarm systems (i.e. Notifier, Fire Lite, Silent Knight, Kiddie etc.), emergency lighting systems, perform hydrostatic testing of low-pressure cylinders, fire extinguisher repairs and filling (i.e. Oval, Amerex); completing documentation of work performed using a tablet; other related duties as required.

SHIFT: Days, 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday – Friday). OT after 40 hours. Minimal on-call

FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

·     NICET Certification

· 3-5 years service, inspection, and installation experience with fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and/or fire extinguishers

·      Solid electrical troubleshooting skills

·      Any trade related certifications/licenses considered a strong asset but not required

·      Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

·      Ability to pass pre-employment background checks (MVR and Drug Testing)
