Position Overview:
We are currently looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic’s to join our Mill Services in Apple Grove, West Virginia. The ideal applicants are experts in their field that are masters at troubleshooting, enjoy working with teams with cutting edge equipment as well as people who will show growth and are excited at the idea of advancement opportunities. They will preform Mechanic duties that include repairing and maintaining heavy-duty off-road construction equipment, and this position allows for career progression into a Lead Man or Maintenance Manager, so if this excites you, this job is for you!
Shifts:
Day Shift: 5am – 5pm
Night Shift: 5pm – 5am
Times may vary depending on the job.
Responsibilities:
-Comply with all safety regulations, policies, and record-keeping
-Dismantling and reassembling of trucks, machines, and equipment to gain access to the program area
-Maintain work area to allow safe movement and access
-Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
-Reading schematics
-Weld, cut, and fabricate equipment and components
Required Qualifications:
-Ability to lift 50 lbs and mobility
-Intensive knowledge of off-road heavy equipment
-Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, braking systems, electrical systems, drivelines, steering mechanisms, and suspensions
-Tier IV Emissions Experience
-Valid Drivers License
Compensation & Benefits:
-Mechanic Level A - $32 - $45 per hour
-Mechanic Level B - $25 - $33 per hour
