Trailer Mechanic – Walton, KY
If you know your way around trailers and take pride in turning out solid work, this is a clean shop with steady hours, good equipment, and plenty of work waiting for you.
We're looking for an experienced Trailer Mechanic to handle repairs, PMs, and trailer setup work. About 90% of the work is trailers—dry vans, flatbeds, and step decks—with only occasional bolt-on work on Class 8 trucks. Very little reefer work.
What You'll Be Doing
- PMs and inspections on commercial trailers
- Suspension, brake, wheel end, air system, and running gear repairs
- 12V electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Light fabrication and parts replacement
- Install toolboxes, ramp kits, and other trailer accessories
- Prep sold trailers for delivery
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of trailer or heavy truck mechanic experience
- Trailer experience is preferred
- Heavy truck experience is welcome
- No automotive backgrounds
- CDL is not required, but it's a plus
- Reliable, dependable, and takes pride in quality work
Pay & Schedule

$30–$35/hr, based on experience
- Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- No weekend shift
