We are seeking experienced Automotive Technicians (A and B Level) to join a busy, well-equipped service department in Clifton Park, NY. This role offers strong earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training, possible sign-on bonus, and clear opportunities for career advancement.

Location: Clifton Park, NY

Pay: $25.00–$40.00/hourly flat rate + production incentives and benefits/401K.

Production incentives:

• 40–44.99 hours: +$1.00/hr
• 45–49.99 hours: +$1.50/hr
• 50+ hours: +$2.00/hr
• 65+ hours: $100 bonus

Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday (some Saturdays)

Sign-on bonus available (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs in accordance with factory and dealership standards
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain required components
• Inspect vehicles to identify additional safety or service needs
• Communicate promptly with service advisors regarding additional or changed repair needs
• Document all completed and recommended repairs
• Road test vehicles as required
• Tag and retain warranty or customer-requested parts
• Stay current on manufacturer technical service bulletins
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
• Supervise apprentice technicians when assigned
• Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and work areas
• Operate tools and equipment safely and report safety concerns immediately
• Comply with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications

• A-Level or B-Level Automotive Technician experience required
• Prior dealership technician experience (CDJR preferred but not required)
• ASE Certifications (preferred)
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification (preferred)
• Previous manufacturer or technician training (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
