A national employee-owned fire and life safety organization is immediately hiring a Lead Fire Sprinkler Fitter and several Fire Sprinkler Fitters to cover the Christiansburg, VA, and surrounding areas.

Sprinkler Fitters will primarily install, with some inspections and service of a variety of water- and air-based fire sprinkler and control systems, valves, pipelines, fire pumps and related equipment in retro and new construction commercial and industrial settings.

The working Lead Fire Sprinkler Fitter will oversee and supervisor projects and job sites, mentor and train Fitters; as well as install, with some inspections and service of a variety of water- and air-based fire sprinkler and control systems, valves, pipelines, fire pumps and related equipment in retro and new construction commercial and industrial settings.

SPRINKLER FITTER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Sprinkler Fitter license
• Backflow certification considered an asset
• At least three (3) years of fire sprinkler fitter experience in maintenance and service
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks (i.e., Criminal, Driving, Drug)

LEAD FIRE SPRINKLER FITTER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least three (3) years of Installation and service of fire sprinkler systems
• Two (2) years of lead and experience in fire sprinkler install/service, overseeing other technicians
• Backflow certification or license is nice to have
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks (i.e., Criminal, Driving, Drug)

SHIFT: Days, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (Monday – Friday). Rotating on-call. OT after 40 hours.

COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:

• Fire Sprinkler Fitter: $22.00 - $28.00/hour +++
• Lead Fire Sprinkler Fitter: $25-$40/hour +++
