Service Truck Mechanic (In-Shop)
We are seeking an In-Shop Service Truck Mechanic to support the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks and specialized utility equipment. This position is 100% shop-based and offers stable hours, hands-on work, and long-term growth within a supportive team environment.
Compensation:
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, and hydraulic utility equipment in a shop environment
- Perform repairs on diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Complete preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety
- Accurately document work performed and communicate with senior technicians as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized shop
- Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus

1–2 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks or equipment preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Basic understanding of engines, hydraulics, or electrical systems
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced shop
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record (CDL a plus, not required)
- Physically able to perform moderate lifting and stand for extended periods
