A well-established fire and security organization is immediately hiring an experienced and BASA/FASA licensed Lead Fire & Security Alarm Technician to cover Broward County as well as the Miami-Dade areas.

Working out of a service vehicle you can take home, you will primarily install, service, repair maintain , as well as inspect a variety of fire alarm, monitoring, and security systems (i.e. Simplex, Edwards, Siemens, etc.), fire panels, emergency lighting, access control systems, CCTV etc. in light commercial, commercial, and industrial settings; oversee onsite labor teams for projects.

SHIFT: Days, 7:00am – 3:00pm (Monday – Friday). OT after 40 hours. Must be able to work rotating on-call rotation.

COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:

• $34.00 - $37.00/hour++
• On-Call: Paid 3 hours just for being on call and time and a half for any actual service calls

FIRE ALARM TECHNICIANS JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• FASA/BASA License Mandatory
• Those with NICET certifications considered an asset
• At least five (5) years fire and security alarm install, service, and inspection experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Own Tools

Successfully hired Alarm Techs must pass pre-employment background checks (Level 2 FDLE/FBI Fingerprint Background Check).
