Pipefitters/Welders will layout, fabricate, assemble, install, maintain, and inspect piping systems on various industrial projects. This will include, but not limited to, utilizing various welding techniques (e.g., TIG, MIG, stick) to weld and join pipes, fittings, and other components; ensuring strong, leak-free connections ; cutting, threading, grooving, and bending pipes using appropriate tools and machinery; selecting and installing appropriate pipe supports, hangers, and brackets to ensure stability and alignment of the piping system; other related duties as required.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Red Seal/Journeyman Pipefitter License
• Welding certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified Welder or ASME IX and B31.1)
• OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Construction Safety Training
• Strong  troubleshooting skills related to pipefitting and welding
• Valid Passport
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract

The successfully hired Journeyman Pipefitter/Welder must pass a pre-employment background check (Criminal, Driving, Physical, and References).

SHIFT: Days, 7:30am – 3:30pm (Monday – Friday). OT after 40 hours. On Call every 3-weeks

COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:

• USD$41.00/hour | Increased to $44.00/hour after 3-months
